In 2010 The National Portrait Gallery in London acquired a dozen of Jemimah's portraits of contemporary writers which are held in their collection for the nation.
Jemimah's photographs have appeared worldwide, on book jackets and in publications from The New York Times, to The Times on Saturday; The Guardian; Granta; and The Listener New Zealand to name but a few (see full client list).
Jemimah was lucky to have been born into a family of painters, sculptors, writers, and musicians and recently discovered she is descended from several famous relatives including an ancient Poet Laureate; the painter John Opie; the first female Polly Peachum; and another, (much more famous) Photographer.
She owes a debt of learning and is grateful to all those for whom she has worked especially Jen Trausch at Polaroid, New York; Caroline Chiu, Hong Kong; Christian Witkin; & Prudence Cuming Associates, London.
