In 2009 the National Portrait Gallery in London acquired six of Jemimah's portraits for their Collection. These are from her on-going series of poets which is to appear as a book. Her most recent exhibition of photographs is gratefully supported by and currently on display at The Poetry Society in Covent Garden.

Jemimah trained in photography at Bristol City College and owes a debt of technical learning and industry codes of practice to various studios where she worked, especially Prudence Cuming Associates in London. She has also worked with established photographers, some of whom took her on as assistant, and thanks are due to all of them but especially Caroline Chiu (Hong Kong); Jen Trausch at Polaroid; and Christian Witkin (New York).

Jemimah was fortunate enough to have been born into a family of artists, painters, writers and musicians, all of whom inspired her formative years. Aged eight she won her first camera on a school tombola.

Jemimah is a member of the Royal Photographic Society and lives in London.
