I know many people are nervous in front of a camera and I try to be sensitive to this, so shoot times can be swift, or with breaks. This is also often necessary when working with children and families, as there is only a short window of attention!
But the most important thing to remember is to be yourself, to relax, and let me do the work of capturing you.
I aim to document the real life fun and games of parent-hood with all the mess and hilarity it involves, not to mention the tender cuddles and slimy kisses which in 10 years we will remember so fondly.
Time passes so fast and it is always wonderful looking back on images capturing family life. (They were so SMALL!)
